September 30, 2013 – EDMONTON, Canada – Harry Potter fans in Canada will have the chance to step inside the famous wizard’s world when Harry Potter: The Exhibition opens at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton on November 23, 2013.
Fans will see the amazing craftsmanship behind hundreds of authentic costumes and film props from all eight of the Harry Potter films. Created by Global Experience Specialists, Inc. (GES) in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, Harry Potter: The Exhibition immerses fans in the experience as they get a firsthand view of authentic artifacts displayed in detailed settings inspired by the film sets, including the Great Hall, Hagrid's hut, the Gryffindor™ common room, and other settings from the films.
Edmonton is the tenth stop for the exhibition which is concluding its global five-year tour. Harry Potter: The Exhibition debuted in Chicago in 2009 and has since been touring the world with most recent stops in Tokyo, New York and Singapore. The exhibition has expanded in recent years to include artifacts from all eight Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition opens Saturday, November 23, 2013, and will run through Sunday, March 9, 2014 at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton. The exhibition is a timed entry experience and will be open daily. Tickets are now available online at telusworldofscienceedmonton.com, by calling 780-451-3344, or by visiting the science centre’s box office.
Admission to Harry Potter: The Exhibition, which includes general admission to the science centre’s exhibition halls, is $26.50
for adults; $23.50 for seniors and youth (ages 65+ and 13-17); $19.50 for children (ages 3-12); and for TELUS World of Science
- Edmonton members admission is $20 for adults; $18 for seniors and youth; and $14 for children.
